Tales of Light

        Trying to sum up everything that is in this site, will be and isn't as easy as it may seem. While reading through most of its content you may come to know why sometimes it is so difficult to explain things using only words. The first thing you may notice is the name itself, why Tales of Light? In today's world most people will tell you that there are no miracles, that to gain something you must work very hard and that you are practically the victim of meaningless coincidences over which you have no control whatsoever. I am here to tell you that the previous sentence is true as long as you believe in it. Once you make that leap forward and see the world in a different way you may start seeing how everything indeed happens for a reason and you may begin to gain control and understanding for each event that passes through your life. My life so far has been as very strange and exciting, with so many wild coincidences and miracles that you may find only in the movies. Most people call it luck. I have two words instead of luck, faith and fate.. for this reason I called my site 'Tales of Light'.
        My name is Evel Meckarov formerly known as FutureBoy , but then as I started growing up I changed it to FutureGlide. As some know I played Ultima Online quite a lot under the nickname TheChosen which in the end I chose to set as my primary nickname very probably until the end of this life :). I am from Monospitovo , a village near Strumica in Macedonia. I was born there on 30.11.1979. I studied my primary school in Monospitovo , after which I continued my studies in Strumica where I finished secondary school in 'USO Jane Sandanski' which was the best school in the whole country (based on success at various scientific competitions around the country) at the time and our class was the best class in our school and perhaps the whole country(based on average grades and prizes won at scientific competitions), we were all simply the best :), except for soccer where almost all other classes defeated us in the yearly school tournament even though we tried real hard and had the passion for it. My plans from there were to get to the electrotechnical faculty in Skopje but fortunately I got a scholarship from the Czech Republic so I spent one year in Podebrady studying Czech language with other students from all over the world. My plans from there were to go to study electrotechnical faculty in Prague but somehow I didn't make the entrance exam of mathematics even though in Brno I made it at 97% and in Prague the physics exam at 98%.. it was simply unexplainable why I failed. But as I saw later Brno is a much better place to study and live than Prague so I was very fortunate (fate played its hand) to not pass the entrance exams. I finished the faculty of electrotechnical engineering and management with relative ease with the great help of couple of my friends. After the university I signed briefly into the postgraduate studies for economics in Brno, for which I received a postgraduate scholarship but soon I decided to move and work in Prague. I spent some time there working in the marketing field but as time went by I realized I should focus my time and energy in what I've always loved and done the best, computers. To my big surprise, Brno once again turned out to be the better choice, especially because IBM was hiring a lot of new people in many areas of the IT field which made me return there even though I thought I had left for good. Once again I got the better part of it and I worked in the field of mainframes, the best and biggest computers you can find on the planet. After this I moved back to Macedonia where I worked in a company named Seavus where I had the chance to grow further professionally by leading varied projects for many different clients. While it was an extraordinary year being back home, working in our capital of Skopje and meeting many interesting people the time came once again to go back to Brno and back to IBM where I currently work in the field of project management.
        There is a lot more I could say but some things are best left said only to those who can understand what is being said so the best way to go is to try and contact me. The reason I have constructed this homepage is because I had always liked showing people that everything is possible and dreams do come true however big they are and however far they may seem. I hope with presenting my life path I inspire few others to follow their dreams and reach the heights they never thought possible and the most important thing of all, to never stop dreaming and never give up. As a final word of caution, after reading everything on this site you may feel that you know me.. be assured that you don't ;)
